Dr. Howard has appeared on the same program with General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, Ambassador Dr. Allan Keyes, and John Wayne's widow Pillar Wayne. In 1993 Dr. Howard appeared in a command performance at the National Rifle Association meeting in Nashville. Two of his poems and picture was given a full page spread in both their national magazines,The American Rifleman, and The Hunter.
