MONDAY ~ FEBRUARY 7 ~ PRECINT MEETING AND COUNTY COVENTION;
ALL MEET ~ 6:00PM ~ GREAT PLAINS TECH SCHOOL ~ BLDG. 700
Comanche County Republicans will merge their county-wide precinct meetings with their County Convention and for additional convenience will also have ALL precincts meet at one central location (as in past).
Registered Republicans will meet on Monday evening February 7 in bldg 700 (west side of complex) of the Great Plains Tech School in Lawton. Precinct meeting(s) will begin at 6:00pm with attendees meeting in small groups with others of their precinct to conduct their business. The County Convention will begin at 7:00pm. Special guest speaker for the convention will be recently elected Western District County Commissioner, Don Hawthorne.
Topping the convention business will be election of County officers for the 2011 - 2013 cycle and selection of delegates for the State Convention set for May 6-7 in OKC. Refreshments will be served.
Republicans are required by state party rules to attend their precinct meeting and county convention if they desire to be delegates to the State Convention.
